Louise Glück, Founding Faculty Member of MFA Program for Writers, Is Awarded Nobel Prize in Literature

 
Louise Glück, a founding faculty member of Warren Wilson's MFA Program for Writers, has won the Nobel Prize in Literature.
 
Glück was the person who first spoke to then-President Reuben Holden about bringing the MFA program to Warren Wilson College. She is the first American woman to win the Nobel Prize in Literature since Toni Morrison in 1993.
