The Student Health Center is staffed by one full-time registered nurse, one part-time registered nurse, and the Health Center Crew. Medical direction is provided by a licensed MD.
There is no fee for current students to visit the Health Center.
We provide a variety of medical services, including but not limited to:
- Evaluation and treatment of common illnesses
- STI counseling and referral
- General health advice
- Assistance with gender-affirming care
- Evaluation and treatment of accidental and athletic injuries
- Minor wound evaluation and treatment
- Travel abroad physicals
- Family planning and contraceptive counseling
- Pregnancy testing and counseling
- Emergency contraceptives
- Nutrition and dietary counseling
- Immunization management to meet college requirements
- Limited laboratory services (and only by physician’s order)
- Strep/Mono/Covid/UTI screenings
- A select inventory of antibiotics and other medications from physician’s standing orders
- Equipment loans of crutches, braces, slings
- Transportation to medical/counseling appointments (if student crew available)
