Setting Up A TIAA Account

As of 2/1/2026, all College employees are eligible to contribute (or defer) their own pre-tax earnings to accumulate retirement savings through our 403B retirement plan.

Employees who are reasonably expected to work at least 1,000 hours in a calendar year or 20 hours per week in a year, are eligible to receive College contributions equal to 1% of an employee's salary through our 403(B) retirement plan.

Instructions for setting up a TIAA account online

  • Online account creation is required for any employee who is interested in accumulating retirement savings by deferring their own pre-tax earnings, regardless of eligibility for College contributions.
  • Online account creation is required for full-time, part-time I and part-time II staff as well as full-time and half-time faculty who are eligible to receive College contributions in the 403 B retirement plan.
  • There is no obligation to match or defer your own earnings if you are eligible for WWC contributions, however it's worth considering setting up an account because the college contributes 1% of your salary each pay cycle.
  • It's best to set up an online account before your first payroll cycle to maximize your benefit.

Follow the hyperlink and steps below to set up an online account on your behalf:
