Help

How’s it going, Owls? Whether you’re balancing your crew work, hitting the trails, or deep in a research project, your mental health matters. Here’s a quick guide to how the Counseling and Wellness team supports your journey at Warren Wilson College.

The Vibe 🌿

Our goal is to support the "whole you"—body, mind, and spirit. We want everyone to thrive here, which is why we’ve designed a system that gets you the right kind of help, right when you need it.

How to Get Started (The Easy Way)

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just need to talk, start here:

  1. Email us: Shoot a message to [email protected].

  2. You’ll start with a quick chat with our Triage Case Manager. They’ll help you figure out exactly what kind of support fits your life best.

Finding Your Fit

Depending on what you need, we’ll help connect you to:

  • On-Campus Counseling: Great for short-term goals, managing stress, or navigating specific challenges (like grief or academic pressure). This is always free!

  • Long-Term Therapy: If you’re looking to dive deeper into long-standing patterns or mental health conditions, we partner with a local group of licensed counselors called Thrive. They can meet you on campus, in town, or virtually.

If you need immediate assistance call the WWC crisis line at 828-777-3915
