Today, more than ever, global perspectives affect every aspect of our lives— from choice of careers to concern for causes that span national borders. Global Engagement at Warren Wilson College offer diverse faculty-led study away courses (2-3 weeks in length), student exchanges (semester or year long) through partner institutions in China, Finland, France, Germany, Japan, Korea, Mexico and Northern Ireland (Queen's University Belfast and University of Ulster) or through our new partnership with ISEP with placements all over the world, as well as other opportunities through our collaboration with The School for International Training (SIT), Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE), Center for International Studies (CISAbroad), Barcelona Study Abroad Experience (Barcelona SAE), Foundation for International Education (FIE), SEA Semester, and the Autonomous University of Social Movements that help students to enrich their academic and personal experience through study in other lands and cultures.
In addition to these international programs, we are now also providing our students the opportunity to participate in domestic study and internship programs at the following institutions: New York Arts Program, The Washington Center, The Philadelphia Center.
Warren Wilson College provides varied levels of financial support for qualified participants. Qualification is based on sufficient accumulated credit hours, a minimum 2.5 GPA at the time of application, residency, good standing in all areas of campus and academic life and your acceptance of program policies.
