Remember: NEVER apply for a scholarship that requires an application fee. No legitimate outside scholarships will require you to release your social security number, banking info, or credit card number in order to apply.

North Carolina residents may reference College Foundation of NC's website for helpful information about applying for college, financial aid, and merit-based scholarships. Additionally, information on the College Foundation of NC's student loan program can be found on the NC Assist website

Golden Leaf Scholarship for students who live in a North Carolina eligible county.  Please check the website for further eligibility criteria. 

CFNC also offers a recurring no-essay scholarship contest open to NC residents or students attending a college in NC -- we would encourage all interested students to apply!

Western North Carolina residents may reference the Community Foundation of WNC's website for additional scholarships
